Our bespoke designs are tailored to meet our customers needs
Don Valley Engineering have been providing bulk material handling solutions since 1947, our 75+ years track record is unmatched in the industry. Our business is built on value engineering, our belt conveyors are proven and the skills required to deliver these solutions are passed on from generation to generation of mechanical engineers.
Benefits of our Belt Conveyors
- High Capacity
Up to 2.5m wide, conveying 5000 m³/h of material
- Low Capacity
0.5m wide conveying 10 m³/h of material
- Designed to British Standards and recognised Codes of Practice
Referencing BS8438 and the recommended practice for Troughed Belt Conveyors published by the Mechanical Handling Engineers Association (MHEA), our Belt Conveyors are built to last, minimise spillage and material degredation.
- Interchangeability
Don Valley’s Belt Conveyor designs incorporate readily mass-produced components that deliver serviceability, availability and affordability.
- External or Internal Applications
Belt Conveyors can be supplied with belt covers to protect the material being conveyed from the elements and minimise fugitive dust emissions or supplied “totally enclosed” to protect the material and personnel from the elements. Our process plant conveyors transfer bulk materials from process to process, ergonomically designed to take up minimal space.
- Overland or Elevated
Our conveyors can be designed to operate at ground level or in an elevated position supported by bridges and gantries designed by Don Valley Engineering designers to meet the particular site constraints and provide maintenance access along the length of the conveyor.
