Malting Process Equipment & Services

Intake, Storage & Despatch
We supply custom intake systems including laboratory sampling, weighing, screening, drying and gentle transfer to storage. Storage options include steel or concrete silos, flat bottom bins or horizontal sheds, all designed to maintain barley quality.
Steeping Systems
We design and manufacture both conical and flat bottomed steeps, prioritising hygiene, durability and efficiency. Options include stainless steel construction, integrated aeration, overflow systems and CIP facilities.
Germination Plant
Our germination solutions include Saladin boxes, germination floors and automated circular vessels. We supply new or replacement machines, control systems, fans, ducting, malt spray systems and conveying equipment.
Kilning Systems
DVE supplies both rectangular and circular kilns, as well as combined germination and kilning vessels (GKV). We offer heat recovery systems, new floors, fans, ducting and replacement loading/stripping machinery. Double-deck kilns are also available for energy efficiency.

A seventh screen was added in 2004, and all screens are still in operation.
